Entrance Hymn: Hail Redeemer, King divine!

Hail Redeemer, King divine!
Priest and Lamb, the throne is thine;
King, whose reign shall never cease,
Prince of everlasting peace.
Angels, saints and nations sing :
“Praised be Jesus Christ our King;
Lord of life, earth, sky and sea,
King of love on Calvary!”
King, whose name creation thrills,
Rule our hearts, our minds, our wills;
Till in peace, each nation rings
With Thy praises, King of kings. Angels, saints and nations sing :
“Praised be Jesus Christ our King;
Lord of life, earth, sky and sea,
King of love on Calvary!”

An invitation to the 99th Cork Eucharistic Procession:

Please join us for the 99th Eucharistic Procession which takes place on Sunday, June 22nd leaving the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne at 3.00pm. This year to accommodate the growing large numbers it was decided to take the final prayer and Benediction outside onto a specially constructed platform down at the end of Grand Parade near the National Monument. For more details see www.corkandross.org

First Communion Procession

Last Sunday’s Noon Mass welcomed the children who recently received their First Holy Communion. They participated in a procession at the end of Mass and this was followed by treats in the Parish Centre. The experience was indeed a memorable one. Hopefully, it will encourage the children and their parents to build on the experience. Sincere thanks to Rose Fitzgerald and her mother-in-law, Chris, who prepared and donated the drinks and cakes. Incidentally, they also do so for the Morning Coffee on the first Tuesday of each month. Mile buiochas.

Recessional Hymn: Praise to the Lord

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,

  the King of creation!

O my soul, praise Him, for He is

your  health and salvation!

    All ye who hear,

Now to His altar draw near;

Join in profound adoration

Praise to the Lord, let us offer

our gifts at his altar;

Let not our sins and

transgressions now cause us to

falter.

Christ, the High Priest,

bids is all join in his feast;

Victims with him on the altar.
