Monthly Holy Hour to pray for vocations:  Thursday 22nd August from 2:30pm to 3:30pm hosted by the Sisters of Charity, Saint Vincent’s Convent, Cork – all are welcome to join in prayer followed by tea/coffee.

Ursuline History since 1535 in ten objects taken from our archive in Cork – Monday 19th August 2:30pm at the Ursuline Convent, Blackrock.  The Ursuline Sisters were founded in 1535 in Italy and came to Ireland at the invitation of Nano Nagle in 1771.

Catechism of The Catholic Church Adult Studies

Alpha
The Alpha course is designed to give us an opportunity to talk about life and its meaning, to relax in the company of other people who have questions to ask or a story to share. Twenty-five people did the Alpha course in this parish from January to April.  They were universally positive about it.  Two Alpha courses will commence in September, on Wednesday evening September 11th at 7.30 pm and Thursday morning September 26th at 10.30 am.  Call or text 086-1522160 if you want more information or wish to do the course.
