Alpha
The Alpha course is designed to give ordinary people an opportunity to talk about life and its meaning, to relax in the company of other people who have questions to ask or a story to share.
Twenty five people did the Alpha course in this parish from January to April.  They were universally positive about it.
Two Alpha courses will commence in September, on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.  Call or text 086-1522160 if you want more information or wish to do the course.

Ordination of our new Bishop
We thank God for the Ordination of our new Bishop in the Cathedral last Sunday, during an inspiring and joyful ceremony. Congratulations to all involved in the considerable planning and preparation. As we mark the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Diocese of Cork & Ross we thank Bishop John for his leadership and service over so many years and wish Bishop Fintan well as he takes up his new role. He does so in a difficult time for the Church in Ireland. There are new challenges to be faced and the path of renewal to which Bishop Fintan has committed himself will not be easy.  We ask God’s blessing on him and on the Diocese.

Diocesan Quarterly Collection at all Masses next weekend 13th /14th July to support the work of the dioceses.
