The SMA National Novena in honour of our Lady of Knock from Friday 17th to Saturday 25th May at the African Missions Church, Blackrock Road and will end on Saturday 25th May, with our Annual Pilgrimage to Knock. Diocesan Mission Team Information Night
The formation of a new Mission Team in Cork & Ross diocese is being explored. Its aim will be to promote and foster mission awareness in parishes and in the diocese. A meeting will be held on Tuesday 28th May at 7:30pm in the Carrigaline Parish Centre, Cork Rd. Interested parishioners and especially those who have worked overseas on mission or in development work are invited and welcome to attend. Living with Loss Cork 2019: Information evening with keynote address by Dessie Fitzgerald (former Cork Hurler) on living with grief and loss – Thursday 6th June from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Clayton Hotel, Lapps Quay, Cork City. Organised by the Hospice Foundation in conjunction with local bereavement organisations.
National Day of Reparation and Repentance: An afternoon of Prayer and Repentance in Reparation for Ireland’s voting for Abortion on May 25th last year and for the ways our Country has turned away from God. Saturday May 25th – Sacred Heart Church, Western Road, Cork City from 2pm – 4.15pm (Mass at 3.15pm). Adoration & veneration of the relic of the Holy Face of Jesus will be included.
