10th June 2018 – 14th Sunday Ordinary Time (B)

GOLDEN  JUBILEE                                                                                                   Jubilee Mass of Fr Nick Motherway, a native of Turner’s Cross.  Fr Nick is a Priest of St Patrick’s Missionary Society (Kiltegans) and will be joined by his family and by priest colleagues and friends with whom he has worked over the years of his ministry.  Since his ordination in Kiltegan on Easter Sunday, 1968, he has served the Lord as a missionary in Africa for almost forty years, as well as working on other Kiltegan assignments. We are delighted that he has chosen to celebrate his Jubilee Mass in our Parish Church of Christ the King, where he celebrated his first Mass some fifty years ago.

WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES
Turner’s Cross Parish Coach
One fifty-three seat Coach has been booked for Turner’s Cross Parish for August 26th and tickets have been reserved for those travelling on the coach.  The coach is almost full, a few seats are still available, and one or two cancellations may be anticipated. Anyone interested in joining the Parish Group on the coach should let us know immediately.
The coach will be registered by the Pastoral Development Office this week as an individual code will be allocated to each coach to provide access to the Phoenix Park drop-off point.
