Prayer for Syria
Lord our God, father of all humanity; change the hearts of all peoples and their rulers, so that peace may be established among the nations on the foundation of justice, love and righteousness.
May the Spirit of Peace descend upon the people of Syria and upon our world until all conflicts cease and peace reigns on earth. AMEN

Learning about the Mass with Kath and Qumen
What do we do at Mass? There is a special name for all the people gathered together for Mass. They are called the Assembly or the Congregation. Everyone present helps to make the Mass a celebration of God’s love for us by:
• Joining in the prayers
• Standing, kneeling and sitting together at the right times
• Singing when there is music
• Listening carefully
• Offering our gifts to be shared
• Coming to the altar to receive holy communion or a blessing.
We are all part of the action!
In ‘full, active and conscious participation’.
