Witnesses :The prophet Amos was sent to bring the word of God to the Northern Kingdom of Israel, and experienced rejection. Jesus tells his apostles that not everybody will want to hear his message, that they will be rejected by some. As we try in our day to day lives to be witnesses to Jesus’ message of life and love, we too experience rejection. St Paul reminds us that we have been chosen by God for this task, Lord, help us to be faithful.
