31st May 2015 – Trinity Sunday

100672-bigthumbnail Blessed Trinity:
We meet the mystery of the Trinity. The Father is the One whom Jesus calls Abba. The Spirit is the One whom Jesus sends to give us strength to live His message. And Jesus Himself is the One who has come to us in the flesh to redeem us. But they are not three Gods, but only One; they are of one nature and indivisible. That is the mystery at the heart of our faith. Jesus is God, the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. They are the One God.  An incredible mystery that we can only live and continue to seek to understand in some small ways. May the Spirit open our hearts and our minds so that we accept this mystery in faith.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAConvent Closing: It is with sadness we announce the closing of the Presentation Convent in Turner’s Cross.  Since the Sisters came to the parish in 1937 they have contributed enormously to the education and formation of young people in Turner’s Cross and beyond and were also very much involves in parish activities. The decision to close the Convent was taken due to the decline in the number of Sisters living there.  Our good wishes and prayers to Sr. Delores, Sr. Mary and Sr. Sheila as they leave.  With gratitude and fondness we remember all the Sisters who were so much part of our lives down the years.
