25th November 2012 – Feast of Christ the King

Our King
This weekend, we celebrate the feast of Christ the King.  Jesus kingdom is a world where love and respect for every person is evident and where all are treated justly.  Jesus invites us all to be part of this kingdom.  Each time we pray The Our Father – we pray for “His Kingdom to come”.
Jesus is there for all and is especially for the least, the last and the lost. His throne is a Cross.  His crown is made from the thorn bush.  His strength is his powerlessness. Praise God for the people we live with, work with and are part of our community, who in their living and loving, make Jesus’ Kingdom Come.
