Responses at Mass
This weekend we begin to use the new translation in responses and prayers said by the congregation they are  included on the parish bulletin & special salmon coloured card.  Please let this card at the end of the seat after Mass for those coming to the later Masses and on the weekdays.   Over time, we will become familiar with the prayers which have very slightly changed.  Frs. Kerry & Charlie will guide us through the responses
 
Deaths:  We extend our sympathy and prayers to the families of Jack Malone, Friar’s Rd, Mary O’Neill, Loreto Park and Fr. John Dunlea  O.M.I.  late of Capwell Ave. who has died in Melbourne,  Australia. Fr. John has served as a priest in Australia for 54 years. The 9am Mass on Sunday 9th Oct. will be offered for the repose of his soul, May they rest in peace.

Get to know each other Coffee Morning. An invitation is extended by the Hospitality & Community Group of the Parish Assembly to all parishioners and Mass goers to a monthly coffee morning on Wednesday 12th October at 10.30am – no charge, no special cause – just an opportunity for parishioners to chat for a half an hour or so over a cuppa and a biscuit, all are welcome.

Our congratulations and thanks to the children, their parents, teachers, parent class representatives our parish Choir and all involved in  the Enrolment Mass for First Holy Communion last Sunday.

Let the HEALING begin.
An Evening of Healing for all who have been wounded by the reality of abuse will take place on Sunday,16th October at 3pm, in the SMA Hall, Wilton, Cork. Further details on Church Notice Board
