Fr Billy OSullivan
On this Vocations Weekend we welcome Fr Billy to our Parish. Fr Billy was ordained to the priesthood last November on the Feast of Christ the King.
Prayer for Vocations
Lord make me a better person, more considerate towards others, more honest with myself, more faithful to you. Make me generous enough to want sincerely to do your will whatever it may be. Help me to find my true vocation in life, and grant that through it I may find happiness and bring happiness to others.
Grant Lord that those whom you call to enter the priesthood or the religious life may have the generosity to answer your call, so that those who need your help may always find it. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
The members of St. Josephs Young Priests Society and The Altar Servers will distribute a card with a prayer for Vocations after Mass today.
Death
We offer sincere and prayerful sympathies to the Family of Donal Lehane, Capwell Ave. Lord grant him eternal peace and joy, and to his family & friends strength and comfort.

Parish Confirmations
We extend a warm welcome to Bishop John Buckley who will be with us on Monday 14th April 10.30 am to confirm 123 young people from our Parish Schools.
Across Ireland Confirmation ceremonies are taking place. It is an occasion of great joy and celebration for all the young people being confirmed. The human spirit is an essential part of each person. It is the mirror of our soul. Like anything living it needs nourishment and care. The Holy Spirit in Confirmation connects with it in a truly special way. This is impossible to describe or put it into words. Its called a sacred moment and thats why every Confirmation ceremony is indeed a sacred moment. As we pray for all who are to be confirmed on Monday 14th April by Bishop Buckley we ask the Holy Spirit to guide each of us as well and to continue nourishing our human spirit.
We wish all those to be confirmed, their families and teachers a lovely day on Monday.
