The Annual Mass for the Deceased Staff and Students of Christ King Girls' Secondary School, South Douglas Rd. will be celebrated in the School on Mon. 19th Nov. at 7.30pm.  Light refreshments served afterwards.   All are welcome.

St. Joseph's Young Priests Society
Because of the Mini-Mission the monthly meeting has been postponed until Tues. 20th Nov. after the 10am Mass in the Parish Centre.

Preperation for First Holy Communion  “Do this in memory Programme”
The 2nd Mass in the “Do This in Memory Programme” for parents and their children will take place on Sunday, 18th Nov. at 10.30.a.m.

New Altar Servers
The first practice for those who have applied to be Altar Servers will take place in the Church on Thursday next 15th Nov. at 2.30pm

Marriage Care Collection
The Diocesan Annual Collection for marriage care services will be taken up at all Masses this weekend Nov. 17th/18th. The Cork Marriage Counselling Centre, Paul St., worked with 778 couples in 2006 in the area of marriage preparation and 823 couples or individuals have been seen for counselling.
Your support in this collection will be appreciated to enable the organisation to continue the excellent service they provide to married couples and those preparing for marriage.

Youth 2000 Retreat
Venue: Ennismore Retreat  Centre, Mayfield 
Beginning Fri. 16th 7.30pm
Ending with Mass on Sunday 18th 2.30pm
Accommodation + Meals provided. Donation only.

Serve
is an Irish volunteer organisation that originated from a tripartite relationship between young Irish adults, Irish Redemptorists and marginalised communities in the developing world. Every year SERVE send over 80 volunteers to live and work with local community groups in Asia, Africa and South America. Here, volunteers work in solidarity with the community groups engaging in projects with them, learning from them and offering them hope of a brighter future.

Knights of St. Columbanus
Faith Development Programme
A series of four talks for Advent will take place in Br. Columbanus.-  All talks will be at 8 p.m. and admission is free. Members of the public are very welcome.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The First talk will be given by Rev. Dr James Good on Wednesday, 21st November. Topic: The Eucharist – to feed us on our way.
