Waves of Love Prayer
The water flowing from the base of the temple will be healing and
life-giving. The Prophet Ezekiel.
Lord, I struggle with what has happened to Robert Holohan in Midleton and
with the enormity of the disaster in South East Asia. The huge loss of life,
the agonising grief and the massive devastation overwhelms me.
Support me through the questions, the shockwaves and the challenges to my
faith.
Give me an inner strength to cope with my own powerlessness.
Put me in touch with a wellspring of faith, hope and love.
Convert our helpless feeling into waves of love, prayer and support for the
victims, the injured, the Holohan Family, the grieving and the helpers.
Change the waters of destruction into healing waters and as I bless myself
with the waters of this fountain I ask you to bless and protect all of us.
Bless our world, bless our hands, bless our hearts and our efforts so that
we may be generous in giving, strong in faith and constant in love. Amen.
The water that I will give shall become a fountain of living water welling
up from within.
