May 16th 2004 – 6th Sunday of Easter

Remember These Words
Don’t let go of hope.
Hope gives you the strength to keep going
when you feel like giving up.
Don’t ever quit, believe in yourself.
Don’t let anyone hold your happiness in their hands,
hold it in yours, so it will always be within your reach.
Don’t measure success or failure by material wealth,
do so by how you feel, our feelings determine
richness of our lives.
Don’t let bad moments overcome you, be patient
and they will pass,
Don’t hesitate to reach out for help,
we all need it from time to time.
Don’t run away from love but towards love,
because it is our deepest joy.
Don’t wait for what you want to come to you,
go after it with all that you are, knowing that life
will meet you half way.
Any time you learn something new about yourself
or about life, you have progressed.
Don’t forget to laugh or be too proud to cry.
It is being who we are that we live life to the fullest.

Whose Job Is It?
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!
