April 18th 2004 – 2nd Sunday of Easter

Four Strengths
The four strengths of the early Church were:
— Fidelity to the teaching of the Apostles;
— a sense of community, sharing and responsibility
for one another;
— common ritual, especially the Eucharist or Breaking of Bread;
— personal daily prayers.
A good strategy for helping anybody interested in joining the Church, or seeking to be a better member, is to work at one or other of these four angles. Any one of them properly pursued will eventually embrace the others.

Easter Garden
Big numbers have been coming to visit the Easter Garden. Our thanks to those who put it together — It gives us all food for thought — The Lord is truly risen!

“It will cost you nothing”
There has been a big number of enquiries re the returning of tax paid for the benefit of the Church Restoration Fund. Forms can be collected in the Sacristy.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank You
Our thanks to all of you who were part of our Holy Week ceremonies. It was great to see the big attendances.
