Important Date for your diary
27th Sept.(Saturday) Concert with Liam Lawton and ‘Lorica’. Their Autumn tour begins here in Christ the King Church.

Liam Lawton’s music has found its way into many hearts and homes in Ireland and far beyond. Working in the area of Celtic Sacred Music, he uses ancient Celtic texts marrying them to lyrical melodies to express the mystery and beauty of our ancient land.

He has recorded seven CDs to date and his latest CD ‘In The Quiet’ is a beautiful collection of his latest compositions, some of which will be heard on the night. Liam has performed to sell-out crowds in Ireland, Britain and the U.S. His music is about to be translated into the Nordic languages and work is underway for a TV documentary of his life and music.

The group ‘Lorica’ consists of 14 musicians and singers, all very experienced performers in their own right who blend together to enhance the beauty of Fr. Liam Lawton’s Music. The proceeds from the Concert on Sat. 27th Sept. will go towards the Church Restoration Fund.

Details of tickets etc. will be announced later.
